Download Job AdThe functioning of CC HITMOBIL will ensure the market orientation and integration of scientific research, technological development and innovations in several important areas for the national economy, stated as priority in the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-plan), the Research and innovation program Horizon 2020 of EU and in the actual measure pack “Clean energy for all Europeans”.
Accelerating the development of innovative clean energy technologies
Promoting the transfer of scientific results to industry
Developing accessible and integrated energy storage solutions
Strengthening the Centre’s research capacity and international integration
The activities of the CC HITMOBIL are structured into three interconnected modules that reflect a comprehensive approach to scientific research, innovation deployment, and sustainable development.
The modules encompass key areas of work – from the development of new technologies and energy solutions, through their integration and testing in real-world conditions, to activities related to technology transfer, training, and public outreach. This structure ensures effective coordination and focused efforts in response to the challenges of clean energy and sustainable technologies.
Research Module 1 brings together four laboratories focused on the development of new materials, technologies, and approaches for the generation and conversion of energy from renewable sources. It encompasses research on battery systems, photovoltaic modules, hydrogen technologies, and bioenergy solutions. The module aims to provide a solid scientific foundation for the creation of efficient, sustainable, and industry-applicable energy solutions with a low carbon footprint.
Research Module 2 comprises two laboratories dedicated to the integration of energy technologies into complete systems for energy storage, management, and utilization. The focus is on hybrid solutions, e-mobility, decentralized energy networks, and the interconnection of various sources and consumers within intelligent energy platforms. The module aims to develop and test prototypes and demonstration systems oriented toward real-world applications and industrial deployment.
Module for Horizontal Activities coordinates actions that support the scientific and applied work of the Centre by ensuring strategic sustainability, visibility, and engagement with industry and society. The module covers technology transfer, intellectual property management, researcher training and mobility, dissemination of results, and participation in national and European networks and policy initiatives.
The implementation of the CC HITMOBIL is aimed at generating significant scientific and applied results in the field of clean energy. These results stem from three main modules, each contributing specific outcomes aligned with its thematic focus and expert capacity.
Research Module 1
This module is expected to deliver new materials and technologies in the fields of hydrogen, photovoltaics, bioenergy, and electrolysis. The results include catalytically active materials, innovative electrodes and membranes, stable photovoltaic cells, and advanced reactors for hydrogen production and wastewater treatment.
Research Module 2
The focus here is on developing methodologies and software solutions for the optimal integration of energy technologies in transport. The expected outcomes involve increased energy efficiency, improved use of renewable sources, and enhanced energy supply security.
Horizontal Activities Module
Expected results include enhanced visibility and applicability of scientific achievements through trainings, scientific events, technology transfer, and partnerships with industry. The Centre will also contribute to capacity building, intellectual property management, and the promotion of low-carbon economy benefits.
