Association Scientific Institute of Clean Technologies (SICT) is a private scientific organization, registered under provisions of the Legal Persons with Non-Profit Purposes Act inscribed into the Registry of scientific activity in Bulgaria. Founders of the association are six natural persons among which 3 professors, 2 experts in the field of clean technologies and one legal person. 

According to the Statute of the association, the main fields of activity are: Independent fundamental and applied study in the field of clean technologies and production, conversion and storage of electrical energy from renewable sources; experimental study tests and analysis of new applications and utilization of systems related to production, conversion, conveyance and storage of electrical energy from renewable sources etc. Fundamental and applied studies directed towards efficient utilization and conversion of electrical energy obtained by photovoltaic generators for water heating, energy storage and providing part of the energy, needed for the public urban transportation.
