Successful Scientific Conference and Working Meeting "Progress, Research Results and Collaboration among the Research Teams of the CoC HITMOBIL"

The forum brought together researchers from Bulgaria and abroad to present scientific achievements, exchange expertise, and plan future collaborative research in the field of advanced energy technologies.

From 25 to 27 June 2026, the University Centre "Bachinovo" of the South-West University "Neofit Rilski" in Blagoevgrad successfully hosted the scientific conference and working meeting entitled "Progress, Research Results and Collaboration among the Research Teams of the CoC HITMOBIL", organised within the framework of the project "Development and Sustainability of the CoC HITMOBIL".

More than 25 scientists and researchers participated in the event, including guests from Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and Serbia, contributing to the expansion of international scientific cooperation and creating new opportunities for future collaborative research.

The official opening was attended by Prof. Nikolay Marin, Rector of South-West University "Neofit Rilski", and Assoc. Prof. Parvan Parvanov, Acting Rector of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", who emphasised the importance of cooperation between research organisations and universities for the advancement of modern energy technologies.

On the occasion of the event, congratulatory addresses were received from Mr. Krasimir Valchev, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, Assoc. Prof. Emil Radev, Member of the European Parliament, and Assoc. Prof. Vladislav Lazarov, DSc, Chair of the National Union of Labour and Production Cooperatives. In their messages, they expressed their appreciation for the activities of the Centre of Competence HITMOBIL and conveyed their best wishes for a successful and productive event.

The scientific programme featured presentations on recent achievements in battery technologies, electrochemical production of green hydrogen, and energy storage and utilisation systems for transport applications. The presentations stimulated lively scientific discussions focused on the exchange of expertise, the evaluation of research results, and the planning of future joint research activities.

The event was also covered by representatives of regional media, contributing to the wider dissemination of the activities of the CoC HITMOBIL and the scientific results achieved within the project.

Through its successful implementation, the forum strengthened scientific cooperation among the partner organisations and created favourable conditions for future joint research initiatives and new international partnerships.
